Surprise Engagement Sessions and Engagement Sessions

Engagement pictures show the beginning of a committed life together.  These images help you announce to the world that are moving to the next level of your relationship.  You need a little more than your phone to do this right and that’s why we’re here.   Our engagement sessions include fun and adventurous images.  We take photos that show the beauty of the location, capture moments and the connection that you and your partner share.  So lets get started.

The first thing we do is discuss when, where and what time.  After that, it is on to a little bit of your history.   I like to try and include things from your history to help tell the story of your relationship and find out what you want captured in the engagement session.   The session usually starts out with pictures of the two of you enjoying the landscape, next popping the question, then the ring goes on the finger.  Finally, we have a combination of posed and photojournalistic shots  showing the excitement of your engagement.

Once the session has been photographed, Robert Akers Photography preps your images for viewing and presents all of the best images for you to see.  Now you can chose what pictures go into your engagement album, package or file set.   Images will be carefully retouched to make you look your best.  Our skills allow us to create amazing wall prints, gallery wraps, save the date cards and albums.  Just let us know your needs.

We make our sessions low key, fun and maybe a little adventurous.  I always have a number of ideas and fun things to do to keep it romantic and exciting.  Of course, your input is always welcome.
