This blog post is designed to help you with your Australian Passport Pictures
Australia has very strict guidelines for their passports.
The photographer must understand the 8 categories operator guidelines. Camera, Lighting, Subject, Facial Piercings, Infants, Glasses and Editing. Each category has up to 6 points of requirements. Don’t worry we know them. And we think this is why we were asked if we would like to be listed as a qualified vendor on their website.
Here are the reasons we qualified.
- Robert Akers Photography is a professional Photographer
- We have the proper equipment: Camera, Lighting, Background and Printer (dye sublimation) inkjet, laser, are not allowed.
- We have submitted samples to the embassy that demonstrate our expertise and ability to meet all requirements.
Until you may have had a hard time finding someone to create your Australian Passport pictures. This is because they do not accept photos from Walgreens, CVS, RiteAid, FedEx, Post Offices or AAA. The reason according to the Australian Embassy is the lighting and print quality does not meet their requirements. At Robert Akers Photography we take these requirements seriously and produce quality images. Below you will see a couple of examples.
As I have said on my website, these are what I call international mug shots. The may not be enhanced or edited. But they do have good lighting.
Because we are professionals you will not be bothering us by calling and asking questions. So let us help you. Give us a call and we will help take some of the mystery out of a great international mug shot. 207-251-2739
