A Family Portrait in Maine by Robert Akers Photography for the Summer of 2024
Well it’s only March and I’m already thinking about the summer of 2024 and creating a family portrait in Maine. People come from all over the country to visit the coast of Maine. And while they’re here many enjoy a beautiful family portrait created in Kennebunk ME. I’m already thinking about new places to take my clients that would be a perfect backdrop for their family’s portrait. Some enjoyed the beautiful woods and rivers, but most really love the coast of Maine. I’ve spent the past 20 years photographing in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells and York to give people pictures with their family that last a lifetime.
Something most people do not know is that every year each beach looks a little different. This is because of winter storms, wind and the way nature works. I love this because I can explore all the new ways the beach has transformed. This is why pictures from this year don’t look exactly like pictures from last year. But there are a few constants, one is the beautiful color of the Maine ocean another are the amazing sunsets, and finally the big rocks on the coast.
